A VILLAGE MARKET

A market is the place where sellers and buyers meet. The traders are eager to sell their articles. The consumers are eager to have the things they need. There is great activity in the market. In cities and towns there are permanent markets. But in villages there are no permanent markets. In villages periodical markets are held. In villages markets are held once or twice a week. The market is held on  the fixed day and fixed place in the villages. In the  villages. In the village,where the market is held. It is full of life. There is generally one market held for several village, a place is fixed where the market is organised. The shorps are  set either in  tempory sheds or in an open places. The market in villages is held generally in an open place. Most of the traders sit with their articlas on th eopen ground. There are different nows for different articles. Traders from nearby towns take their goods to the village market. The take only articles of bare necessity such as agricultural implement, utensils, cloths, footwears, stationery articles, manures seeds etc. Farmers from distant villages bring their own products, such as, rice, pulses wheat, Gur, sugarcane, vegetables, etc. The farmers are eager to sell the things they have produced. Fishermen carry their fishes in basket. Carpenters take their wooden goods and blacksmiths take their iron articles. Fruit vendors carry fruits. Some people carry birds like parrots and pigeon and offer them for sale. A Village market is full of noise. Everyone talks at the top of his voice. There is a lot of bargaining. The vendors raise their voices to attract customers. The buyers with bags are seen making enquiries about the prices of goods and make a great noisa.
