REPUBLIC DAY IN YOUR SCHOOL

The Republic Day is a day of joy for the people of our country., It is celebrated  on the 26th January, 1950 India Became a republic on the 26th January. 1950. India had been under British rule for centuries. We got independence on the 15th August, 1947 We made our constitution and
it came into force on the 26th January 1950. So, the Republic Day is celebrated on the 26th January, every Year. The Republic day is a red-letter day in the history of our country. This year we celebrated the Republic Day in our school in a fine way. It is celebrated all over Indian with great pomp and show. First of all the teachers, students and other employees of the school gathered in the school compound in early morning. We were asked to go to the prayer ground for the flag hoisting ceremoney. We went there and we stood in rows for flag hoisting. The Headmaster of my school hoisted the national flag at 7.45 a.m. then we sang the national antem. Some teachers and students of my school made brief speech on the importance of the Republic Day. In the end our headmaster made a speech. He reminded us that we would be leaders of our country properity of country. His speech made a great impression on us. After his speech was over, sweets were distributed among the people present there. Thus the Republic day in my school was celebrated with great Inthusiasm. If filled our hearts with joy and patriotism. Republic day reminds us of the secrifices made by the people for freedom. It inspired us to work hard for the prosperity of country. It unspired us to work hard for he prosperity of country. It tells us how much we have achieved and how much is still to be achieved.
