A SHORT DESCRIPTION OF MY VILLAGE

India is a land of villages. The majority of Indian people live in villages. I live in village Darbesh Pura in the district of patna. This village is six miles far from Railway Station Barh. There is only one road to connect the village with Railway Station and towns. This road is not in good condition. This road is not maintained properly. For this the Gram Panchayat Committee and District Board are responsible. Darbeshpura is a big village. It consists of about 300 families. The village was thickly populated ago. Now it is not so. majority of the people ofr his village have left the village. The blacksmiths, barbers, cobblers and washermen have gone to towns to seek shelter there from the cruelty of the village landlords. Those who hold some services live in town. There are Rajputs Brahmins Milkmen and Herdsmen in the village. Rajputs are cultivators. Brahmens are priest. Milkmen keeps cows and sells mild and curd. Herdsmen carry on cultivation.
