THE VILLAGE PANCHAYAT गांव पंचायत

India is country of villages. The majority of the indian people live in villages. About 70% Indians lives in villages. Villages are the soul of India. Villagers are the true picture of India. Villages are the pride and glory of India. Unfortunately the condition of the Indian Villagers is not good. The villagers life is very miserable. Every wald of life of the villagers need iumprovement. India has been named as a golden bird. But here is the region of poverty amidst plenty. For improvement of villages, the Indian Government has introduced the Village-Panchayat system. Its arm is to make villagers self-sufficient Itg is hope that in duo course the villagers will get back the past glory. The village-Panchayat has two units 
1. The executive   2. Judiciary
The villagers elect a Mukhia and a Surpanch. Mukhia is the Executive Head. Surpanch is the head of the village court. He decides case in village. Panchayat, there is a Gram-sewak. He is a Government servant. He gets pay from the Government. ;He keeps the records of the court. There is also an officer who is in charge of the Defence Force. The village to improve the miserable condition of villages and to tackle the problems of the villages. If we have to improve our nation, we shall have to improve the condition of our villages. The aim of the village Panchayat is to make villagers are quarrals over the question of the election of Mukhias, surpanchas and panchas. Villages have become centre of evil. There are parties and sub parties. There is the need of proper education in the villages. The villagers should know their duty and responsibility.
