REPUBLIC DAY IN YOUR SCHOOL

The Republic Day is a day of joy for the people of our country., It is celebrated  on the 26th January, 1950 India Became a republic on the 26th January. 1950. India had been under British rule for centuries. We got independence on the 15th August, 1947 We made our constitution and it came into force on the 26th January 1950. So, the Republic Day is celebrated on the 26th January, every Year. The Republic day is a red-letter day in the history of our country. This year we celebrated the Republic Day in our school in a fine way. It is celebrated all over Indian with great pomp and show. First of all the teachers, students and other employees of the school gathered in the school compound in early morning. We were asked to go to the prayer ground for the flag hoisting ceremoney. We went there and we stood in rows for flag hoisting. The Headmaster of my school hoisted the national flag at 7.45 a.m. then we sang the national antem. A VILLAGE MARKET

A market is the place where sellers and buyers meet. The traders are eager to sell their articles. The consumers are eager to have the things they need. There is great activity in the market. In cities and towns there are permanent markets. But in villages there are no permanent markets. In villages periodical markets are held. In villages markets are held once or twice a week. The market is held on  the fixed day and fixed place in the villages. In the  villages. In the village,where the market is held. It is full of life. There is generally one market held for several village, a place is fixed where the market is organised. The shorps are  set either in  tempory sheds or in an open places. The market in villages is held generally in an open place. Most of the traders sit with their articlas on th eopen ground. There are different nows for different articles. VILLAGE UP LIFT : NEED OF THE TIME

India is a country of villages. The majority of the Indian people live in villages. About 70% Indians live in villages. Villages are the soul of India. The condition of the villages is not good. The villagers are poor. There are no good roads. There are no Hospital or good doctors in the villages. There  is no proper arrangement for the treatment of the sick. The majority of the villagers are illiterate. There are no proper facilities for educating the villagers. They do not have sufficient provision for amusements. The villages lack sanitary care. They do not know the value of cleanliness. There is dirt and dirt everywhere int he village. Dirt breads germs of discase. Therefore Villagers fall an easy prey to diseases. The villagers get no medical help. The two classes of men live in the villages. Most of the people belong to the class of have-nots They have nothing of their own. They are landless. A SHORT DESCRIPTION OF MY VILLAGE

India is a land of villages. The majority of Indian people live in villages. I live in village Darbesh Pura in the district of patna. This village is six miles far from Railway Station Barh. There is only one road to connect the village with Railway Station and towns. This road is not in good condition. This road is not maintained properly. For this the Gram Panchayat Committee and District Board are responsible. Darbeshpura is a big village. It consists of about 300 families. The village was thickly populated ago. Now it is not so. majority of the people ofr his village have left the village. The blacksmiths, barbers, cobblers and washermen have gone to towns to seek shelter there from the cruelty of the village landlords. Those who hold some services live in town. There are Rajputs Brahmins Milkmen and Herdsmen in the village. Rajputs are cultivators. Brahmens are priest. Milkmen keeps cows and sells mild and curd. Herdsmen carry on cultivation.
